The Journal of Asia TEFL is calling for papers for a special issue on Learner Corpus Research in the AI Era: Perspectives from Asia.
This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research that explores the transformations in learner corpus research due to the emergence of generative AI. We invite original contributions that examine how AI is reconfiguring learner corpus research, particularly in Asian contexts.
Potential topics include novel approaches to learner corpus compilation and annotation leveraging AI technologies, methodological innovations in error analysis and pattern identification using AI, and applications of AI-driven corpus analysis in developing targeted pedagogical interventions.
