The Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network CAVECORE is offering 15 fully funded PhD positions in Cognitive Robotics. Candidates will develop novel methods for evaluating and validating AI-enabled robots, combining robotics & AI with cutting-edge validation techniques.

Doctoral topics include:

  • Shared models for human-robot collaboration
  • Learning-enabled safe and reliable hybrid controllers
  • Digital twin-based behavioural specification
  • Measures of human preferences for responsible robot behaviour
  • Automated robotic mission assessment

Partners include: University of Bremen, Bielefeld University, and others. Start date: February 2026 | Duration: 36 months | Deadline: October 20, 2025.
