Call for Papers: LxGr2025 Symposium on Corpus Approaches to Lexicogrammar

LxGr2025, the 10th Symposium on Corpus Approaches to Lexicogrammar, invites abstracts for research, position papers, and tool demonstrations. Submit by 4 April 2025.

The 10th Symposium on Corpus Approaches to Lexicogrammar (LxGr2025) is now accepting abstract submissions. The symposium, scheduled for Friday 11 and Saturday 12 July 2025, will be held online and focuses on the theme: Conceptions of Lexicogrammar: How can corpus linguistics shed light on its nature?

Abstracts should be submitted by 4 April 2025 to lxgr@edgehill.ac.uk. Submissions are welcome for research papers, position papers, and descriptions or demonstrations of tools or resources, provided they are relevant to both lexicogrammar and corpus linguistics.

  • Research papers should outline the research focus, corpus, methodology, theoretical orientation, and main findings.
  • Position papers should specify the theoretical orientation and potential contributions to lexicogrammar and corpus linguistics.
  • Tool or resource descriptions should detail main functions and contributions to the field.

Full papers will have 35 minutes (including 10 minutes for discussion), while work-in-progress reports will have 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for discussion). Participation is free, and there will be no parallel sessions.
