Call for Papers: Miniconference on Temporal Dimension of Data in Digital Humanities

Call for papers for the miniconference ‘The times they are a-changin’’ on the temporal dimension of data in Digital Humanities at DH2025 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The 2025 International Digital Humanities Conference in Lisbon, Portugal, is hosting a miniconference on the temporal dimension of data in Digital Humanities. The event, titled ‘The times they are a-changin’,’ aims to address the insufficient attention to temporal dynamics in data across various disciplines within DH.

The miniconference welcomes researchers from all career stages and diverse disciplines to submit finalized projects or work-in-progress reports on theoretical or methodological reflections, empirical studies, and/or practical applications on the topic of time in DH.

Submission types include presentations (15 min. + 15 min. discussions) focusing on but not limited to the domains of ‘images & objects,’ ‘text & language,’ and ‘place & space.’ The submission deadline is April 10, 2025, and acceptance notifications will be sent out by April 30, 2025.
