Call for Papers: The First Workshop on Language Models for Low-Resource Languages (LoResLM 2025@COLING) – Extended Deadline
LoResLM 2025@COLING workshop invites submissions on developing and evaluating neural language models for low-resource languages. Extended deadline for paper submissions is 12th November 2024.
A workshop on the development and evaluation of neural language models for low-resource languages has been announced. The deadline for paper submissions has been extended to 12th November 2024. The workshop, LoResLM 2025, will be held in January 2025 and is co-located with COLING 2025. Researchers are invited to submit papers on a range of topics related to the use of language models for low-resource languages, including building language models, adapting existing models, corpora creation, benchmarks, and applications. The workshop is organized by a team from Lancaster University, UK, and the Programme Committee includes experts from universities and research institutions around the world.
