CESArtIn 2026: International School on AI’s Cognitive, Ethical, and Societal Dimensions
CESArtIn 2026 is an international school on AI’s cognitive, ethical, and societal dimensions, featuring keynote speakers and courses on AI research and applications.
The 1st International School on the Cognitive, Ethical and Societal Dimensions of Artificial Intelligence (CESArtIn 2026) will be held in Porto, Portugal, from January 19-23, 2026.
The event, co-organized by the University of Maia and the Institute for Research Development, Training and Advice (IRDTA), will cover current debates about AI’s foundations, challenges, and risks across three thematic lines: cognition, ethics, and society.
- Keynote speakers include Georgios Giannakis and Ming Lin.
- 12 courses will be offered, along with 2 keynote lectures, 1 round table, 1 symposium, and 3 open debates.
- Participants can attend in person or online, with opportunities for networking and face-to-face interaction.
