CFP Reminder: The 2nd Workshop on Hybrid Human-Machine Learning and Decision Making (HLDM’24)

The 2nd Workshop on Hybrid Human-Machine Learning and Decision Making (HLDM’24) is a one-day event taking place on September 9th, 2024, as part of the ECML-PKDD 2024 conference. The workshop aims to gather researchers addressing different aspects of effective hybrid decision making, including machine learning approaches that explicitly account for the human-in-the-loop, decision making strategies and HCI principles, cognitive aspects, legal and regulatory aspects, and more. The workshop will feature invited talks, a poster session, presentations of the best contributions, and a final discussion. Confirmed invited speakers include Prof. Nick Chater, Prof. Zeynep Akata, and Prof. Nuria Oliver. The goal of the workshop is to foster discussion on the most promising research directions and the most relevant challenges revolving around hybrid human-machine learning and decision making.
