CIBB 2025: Call for Short Papers on Machine Learning in Clinical Informatics and Medical Biology

CIBB 2025 invites submissions of short papers for its special session on Machine Learning for Structured Data in Clinical Informatics and Medical Biology.

CIBB 2025, the 20th International Conference of Computational Intelligence methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, invites submissions of short papers for its special session on ‘Machine Learning for Structured Data in Clinical Informatics and Medical Biology’. The conference will be held on September 10-12, 2025, at Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy.

The special session aims to advance the scientific fields of machine learning, clinical informatics, and medical biology by inviting researchers to demonstrate the potential and advancements of machine learning algorithms in making accurate computational predictions in healthcare datasets and patient-oriented biological datasets.

Submissions should be 4-6 pages in length and will undergo peer review. Accepted contributions will be invited for submission of extended versions to the Springer Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) or to a selected journal.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, applications of machine learning to bioinformatics or health datasets, data mining methods in biomedical contexts, artificial intelligence in biomedicine, and next-generation sequencing bio-algorithms.
