CL4Health 2025: 2nd Workshop on Patient-Oriented Language Processing at NAACL
The 2nd Workshop on Patient-Oriented Language Processing (CL4Health) will be held at NAACL 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The workshop invites full and short papers on original research and work in progress related to language processing focused on patients’ health and health-related issues. The workshop will also feature a shared task on Perspective-aware Healthcare Answer Summarization.
CL4Health 2025: Call for Papers
The 2nd Workshop on Patient-Oriented Language Processing (CL4Health) will be held at NAACL 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners in the field of language processing focused on patients’ health and health-related issues. The scope of the workshop includes health-related information needs, quality assurance and ethics, summarization of data from electronic health records, detection of misinformation, consumer health question answering, biomedical text simplification, dialogue systems, linguistic resources, and pre-trained language models for consumer health.
The CL4Health 2025 will feature a shared task on Perspective-aware Healthcare Answer Summarization (PerAnsSumm), which will use the Perspective-aware healthcare Answer SuMmarizAtion (PUMA) dataset. The task will focus on perspective-specific answer summarization within a community question answering setup.
The workshop invites full papers (up to 8 pages) and short papers (up to 4 pages) on original research and work in progress. Submissions must be electronic and in PDF format, using the Softconf STAR conference management system.
