CLiC-it 2025: 11th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics
The 11th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2025) will be held in Cagliari, Italy, from September 24-26, 2025, focusing on high-quality research in computational linguistics and NLP.
The 11th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2025) will be held from September 24-26, 2025, in Cagliari, Italy. The conference, organized by the Italian Association of Computational linguistics (AILC), aims to promote and disseminate high-quality, original research in computational linguistics and natural language processing (NLP).
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, computational historical linguistics, computational social science, dialogue systems, ethics in NLP, generation, information retrieval, machine learning for NLP, multilingualism, NLP applications, phonology, semantics, and speech processing. The conference welcomes contributions on all languages, with a particular emphasis on Italian.
CLiC-it 2025 also features a parallel submission policy for outstanding papers accepted in 2024 and 2025 by major international CL conferences or journals. These can be submitted as short research communications, not exceeding one page, to promote the dissemination of high-quality research within the Italian CL community.
Paper submission is open for original, completed, and unpublished work, with a length of 6-8 pages of content and up to 3 pages of references. Supplementary material is allowed, not exceeding one page. Papers will be evaluated based on the soundness of approach, relevance to computational linguistics, novelty, clarity, quality of presentation, and quality of evaluation.

- June 9, 2025: Paper submission deadline for regular papers and research communications
- July 21, 2025: Notification to authors of reviewing/selection outcome
- August 4, 2025: Camera-ready version of accepted papers
- September 24-26, 2025: CLiC-it 2025 Conference, Cagliari
