COLING 2025 Workshop on Detecting AI Generated Content: Call for Participation

The COLING 2025 Workshop on Detecting AI Generated Content has announced its first call for participation. The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss and share their latest findings on detecting AI generated content in various modalities such as text, image, and speech. The workshop will feature research paper presentations, two shared tasks, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. Submissions of long and short papers on original and unpublished work are invited, with a page limit same as the COLING 2025 main conference. All accepted submissions will be presented as talks and/or posters at the workshop.

The workshop welcomes submissions on a wide range of topics, including detection methods for various modalities, multilingual detection methods, real-time detection systems, attacks for detection systems, datasets and resources, benchmarking for AI generated content detection, AI generated fake news detection, deep fakes in audio, videos and images, and ethical and legal implications of AI generated content.

Two shared tasks are planned for the workshop: Task 1 on Binary Multilingual Machine-Generated Text Detection (Human vs. Machine) and Task 2 on AI vs. Human. More details about the shared tasks will be announced soon.
