Corpus Linguistics Summer School 2025 at University of Birmingham

Join the Corpus Linguistics Summer School 2025 at the University of Birmingham to gain expertise in corpus-based linguistic research.

Join the Centre for Corpus Research at the University of Birmingham for the Corpus Linguistics Summer School 2025, taking place from 7 to 11 July 2025 at the Edgbaston campus.

Attendance is open to all on a first-come-first-served basis. The registration fee is £230 (£180 for students).

Speakers include Joyce Lim (Aston University) and members of the local staff of corpus linguistics, such as Alex Christiansen, Matteo Fuoli, Jason Grafmiller, Jack Grieve, Nicholas Groom, Yaling Hsiao, Sofia Malamatidou, Akira Murakami, Michael Oakes, Adam Schembri, Paul Thompson, Katharine Weetman, and Bodo Winter.

The annual Sinclair Lecture will also take place during the summer school. The programme aims to equip participants with critical expertise in both the theory and practice of corpus-based linguistic research.
