Join the 3rd WORKSHOP ON COMPUTER VISION FOR WINTER SPORTS (CV4WS) at WACV 2025 to explore cutting-edge research on visual analysis and fan engagement in winter and mountain sports. Submit your research papers or participate in the SkiTB challenge, a visual tracking challenge for skiing.

The 3rd WORKSHOP ON COMPUTER VISION FOR WINTER SPORTS (CV4WS) is set to take place in conjunction with the IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV) 2025. This workshop aims to advance visual analysis and enhance spectator experiences in winter and mountain sports, such as skiing, bobsleigh, climbing, and downhill biking. The CV4WS 2025 invites research papers on various topics, including machine learning solutions, pose estimation, performance analysis, injury prevention, augmented reality, and computer vision applications in winter sports.

Additionally, the CV4WS 2025 is hosting the SkiTB challenge, a visual tracking challenge using a large skiing dataset. Participants can submit their solutions, and the best reports will be included in a future special issue. The challenge opens on 01 December 2024, with submissions due by 31 January 2025, and technical report submissions by 07 February 2025.
