ECCV 2024 Doctoral Consortium: Call for Participation

The European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) 2024 is hosting a Doctoral Consortium (DC) event for students nearing the completion of their doctorate or those who have recently graduated in the field of computer vision. The DC offers a unique opportunity to engage with experienced researchers and receive mentorship from senior community members. Students will present a poster showcasing their thesis research or a recent paper to fellow participants and mentors.

To be eligible, students must be conducting research in computer vision and be within 6 months (before or after) of graduating with their doctoral degree. The application deadline is July 24, 2024, and applicants must submit their CV, a two-page research statement, a poster title and author list, a signed letter from their advisor, and a list of 7 potential mentors. If not all applications can be supported, selection will be based on the provided material and the student’s graduation date.

The Doctoral Consortium Event will take place on one day during the main conference on October 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, 2024, at MiCo Milano. Travel awards are suggested to be checked through the ECCV 2024 conference’s travel grant support.
