ECML-PKDD 2024 Workshop: Advancements in Federated Learning
The European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (ECML-PKDD) 2024 will host the 2nd Workshop on Advancements in Federated Learning (WAFL). This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in Federated Learning (FL).
FL is a machine learning approach that allows for decentralized data analysis while preserving data privacy. It has gained significant attention due to its potential to enable AI-based systems without compromising users’ privacy. The WAFL workshop will focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of FL, including algorithmic advances, security and privacy, non-functional properties, variants, applications, and tools.
We invite researchers and practitioners to submit original research papers on all aspects of Federated Learning. The deadline for paper submissions is June 21, 2024. The workshop proceedings will be published by Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science.
