EPIA 2024: NLP-TeMA Track Call for Papers (Deadline Extended)

The EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will host the 23rd edition in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, from 3rd to 6th September 2024. The Natural Language, Text Mining and Applications (NLP-TeMA) track invites researchers in Human Language Technologies to submit their papers by the extended deadline of May 20, 2024.

NLP-TeMA aims to bring together researchers working on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics (CL), Natural Language Engineering (NLE), Text Mining (TM), Information Retrieval (IR), and related areas. The track offers a valuable opportunity to bridge the gap between language theories and effective use of natural language contents, harness the power of semi-structured and unstructured data, and enable important applications in real-world heterogeneous environments.

Topics of interest include Natural Language Processing, Text Mining and Applications, Language Resources, Language Modeling, NLP for Low-Resource Languages, Sentiment Analysis and Argument Mining, Computational Social Science, Health/Biomedical/Legal and other Text Mining Applications, and more.

The Track Organizing Committee includes Joaquim Silva, Pablo Gamallo, Irene Rodrigues, Paulo Quaresma, Alípio Jorge, and Joaquim Ferreira da Silva.

For more information, visit the EPIA 2024 website and submit your paper through the EasyChair platform.
