The 24th EPIA Conference on Artificial Intelligence is calling for papers on ‘Ethics and Responsibility in AI’ to be held at Universidade do Algarve, Faro, Portugal from October 1-3, 2025.

The track on Ethics and Responsibility in AI (ERAI) seeks contributions on innovative approaches to address ethical challenges, trustworthiness, explainability, and interpretability in AI.

• Trustworthiness, explainability, and interpretability in AI
• Social, ethical, and privacy aspects of AI
• Metrics for evaluating AI ethics
• Human in the Loop for AI ethics
• Bias challenges in AI

Key dates:

• Paper submission deadline: May 23, 2025
• Notification of acceptance: July 4, 2025
• Camera-ready papers: July 14, 2025
