Exciting Opportunity: Full Professorship in Machine Learning at Saarland University
The Computer Science Department at Saarland University is currently accepting applications for a W3 professorship in Machine Learning. This is a full professor level position, and the department is interested in candidates with expertise in modern areas of ML, including but not limited to theoretical and applied deep learning, reinforcement learning, causal ML, trustworthy and robust ML, and more.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and international research environment, as part of the Saarland Informatics Campus. The campus is home to several renowned research institutes, including the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Center for Bioinformatics, and the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. There is also potential for affiliation with the Max Planck Institute for Informatics or the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems.
