The Data Mining and Machine Learning research group at the University of Vienna is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in NLP and ML, and to be part of a dynamic and supportive research team.

The postdoc will have the chance to work on a range of exciting research topics, including:

• Analysis, explainability, and interpretability of large language models
• Linguistic capabilities of large language models
• Extraction of structured information from text and linking knowledge graphs and language
• Weak supervision of natural language processing models
• Multimodal and multilingual deep learning

The successful candidate will have a strong background in NLP and ML, with a PhD in a relevant field. They will also have excellent programming skills, and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
