Explainable AI in Industry 4.0 and 5.0: A Special Issue on Data and Information Fusion

This Special Issue is dedicated to the integration and application of eXplainable AI (xAI) in Industry 4.0 and 5.0. With a focus on themes such as trustworthiness, transparency, and accountability, the Special Issue aims to explore the use of xAI in modern industrial settings and the collaboration between humans and machines in Industry 5.0. The topics of interest include data and information fusion, explainable systems, predictive maintenance, forecasting, anomaly detection, and digital twins, among others. The Special Issue is open for submissions from January 29th, 2024, and the final manuscript submission deadline is July 29th, 2024. The guest editors for this Special Issue are Rita P.
