Exploring Causal Inference for Time Series Data at UAI 2024

We are thrilled to announce the Call for Papers for the Workshop on Causal Inference for Time Series Data at UAI 2024, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, on July 19th, 2024. This workshop aims to bring together leading researchers and new investigators in the field of causal inference, time series analysis, and dynamical systems. The event will serve as a platform to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in causal inference for time series data.

The workshop will focus on various topics, including causal structure learning, causal effect estimation, counterfactual reasoning, time series root cause analysis, causal representation learning, and more. It will also cover applications from different scientific domains, such as Earth sciences, epidemiology, neuroscience, economy, and others.

We invite submissions on ongoing research that have not yet been published in a venue with proceedings. While unfinished work is welcome, submissions should contain original ideas, new connections between research fields, or novel results. The main body of the submission, including figures and tables, must not exceed 8 pages, with an additional page allowed for references.

All papers will undergo double-blind peer review, and a subset of the accepted papers will be invited for a contributed talk. The workshop will not have proceedings, allowing for a more open and dynamic exchange of ideas.

For more information, including important dates, submission instructions, and the organizer list, please visit the workshop’s official website.

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your research, learn from others, and contribute to the exciting field of causal inference for time series data. We look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you at UAI 2024 in Barcelona!
