The School of Applied Mathematics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EMAp) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is seeking applications for an open-rank faculty position in Data Science. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field and a strong record of research and teaching.

• Research areas of focus include natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, network science, and data mining.
• The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded research program, publish in high-impact venues, and teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
