First International Conference on NLP and AI for Cyber Security: Advancing Digital Security through Language Processing

The First International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Security (NLPAICS’2024) is set to take place at Lancaster University, UK, on July 29-30, 2024. As cyber security becomes an increasingly critical concern in our digital world, this conference aims to bring together researchers and professionals to explore the potential of NLP and AI in enhancing cyber security systems. With a focus on the latest NLP and AI solutions for mitigating cyber threats, the event invites submissions on a wide range of topics related to language studies and models in the context of cyber security.

Some of the key areas of interest include societal and human security, speech technology and multimodal investigations, data and software security, human-centric security, anomaly detection and threat intelligence, systems and infrastructure security, financial cyber security, ethics, bias, and legislation in cyber security, and specialized security applications. The conference also features a special theme track dedicated to the future of cyber security in the era of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with employing these advanced models in everyday tasks.

NLPAICS’2024 welcomes high-quality submissions in English, with two types of papers: regular long papers (up to eight pages) and short papers (up to four pages). Accepted papers, including both long and short papers, will be published as part of the same e-proceedings on the ACL Anthology. The submission deadline is April 22, 2024, and the conference will feature keynote speeches from esteemed experts in the field, including Sevil Şen, Iva Gumnishka, and Paolo Rosso.
