A fully-funded 3-year PhD position is available at the GREYC Laboratory, University Caen Normandie, France, focusing on deepfake detection using forensics strategies and lightweight AI.
The project, supported by the AMI CMA Cyrcé, aims to address the issue of AI-generated deepfake videos under the supervision of Pr Christophe Charrier, Dr Emmanuel Giguet, and Ass. Pr. Ewa Kijak.
- Solid background in machine learning required.
- Experience in image/video processing, deep learning, and programming (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch) necessary.
- Interest in ethical and regulatory considerations surrounding video manipulation is desirable.
