Fully Funded PhD Position at BITS Pilani India: Machine Learning Assisted Inverse Design of Novel Auxetic Core Architectures
BITS Pilani India is offering a fully funded PhD position for a passionate researcher in the project Machine learning assisted inverse design of novel auxetic core architectures for improved blast resistance of sandwich structures. The position is available under the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Computer Science & Information Systems at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Candidates with M.E./MTech. or an equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/Applied Mechanics/ Material Science/ Design/ CAD/Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply. Basic Machine learning or Python programming knowledge is preferred.
