PhD Position in Neuro-Symbolic AI

The Institute of Neural Information Processing at Ulm University is offering a fully funded 3-year PhD position (with the possibility of extension) in the field of Neuro-Symbolic AI. The PhD candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to fundamental questions in AI and cognitive science, and apply their work directly in the context of medical imaging through collaboration with the University Clinic.

The ideal applicant should have a strong mathematical background and a degree in natural science, mathematics, economics, psychology, computer science, engineering or a related field, with a keen interest in neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
