Fully Funded PhD Studentship in Lifelong Robot Learning at the University of Southampton, UK

The University of Southampton is offering a fully funded PhD studentship in Lifelong Robot Learning. The project aims to explore the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into robot learning for long-horizon task learning and few-shot adaptation. The successful candidate will work on developing methods for incrementally learning skill representations jointly from textual descriptions and spatio-temporal information of action sequences. The studentship is open to UK, EU, and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, and exceptional overseas candidates may also be considered.
