GenAI-School: A Comprehensive Overview of Generative AI

The GenAI-School is a unique event that brings together experts in generative AI to provide an overview of the latest advances in this rapidly evolving field. Co-organized by Université Paris-Saclay and Institut Polytechnique de Paris, the school will take place from October 21-25, 2024 in Paris-Saclay University, France. The program covers theoretical foundations, methodologies, and practical industrial applications beyond NLP. Participants will be introduced to fundamental methodological tools and will hear presentations from experts across diverse scientific fields. Topics will include foundations of generative models, large language models, multimodal generation, frugal models, and ethics of generative AI. Applications of generative AI will also be discussed, including audio synthesis, climate change, image and video generation, medical data, meteorology, telecommunications and networking, and robotics. During poster sessions and flash talk sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to share recent research results and open problems.
