GROUND Workshop: Group Understanding and Robots’ Adaptive Behavior at RSS 2024

We are excited to announce the 2nd edition of the GROUND workshop, taking place on July 19th, 2024, during the RSS: Robotics: Science and Systems conference at Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. This workshop focuses on group dynamics in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), providing a platform for researchers from various backgrounds to share their findings and learn about the latest developments.

Submit your short paper (2-4 pages) by May 31st, 2024, through the EasyChair platform. We welcome contributions on innovative strategies for group-robot interactions, including work in progress, technical reports, case studies, surveys, and state-of-the-art research. Accepted authors will present their work during an interactive poster session, with the best poster earning a $200 reimbursement.

Visit our website here for more information on topics and the Call for Papers. The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, allowing remote participation, and recorded for later viewing. Additionally, workshop authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their contribution to a Special Issue on Group-Robot Interaction in collaboration with the International Journal of Interaction Studies.

For any questions, please contact the organizers at workshop.ground@gmail.com. Share this announcement with anyone who might be interested in attending.
