HUBEDA@IEEE RO-MAN 2024: Workshop on Human Behavior Data Collection for Human-Robot Interaction

The Workshop on Human Behavior Data Acquisition for Human-Robot Interaction (HUBEDA) is an exciting opportunity for researchers to contribute to the field of human-robot interaction. The workshop will be held at IEEE RO-MAN 2024 in Pasadena, California, USA on August 30, 2024. The deadline for paper submission is July 15, 2024.

Paper submissions can be up to 6 page full papers or 4 page extended abstracts and will be peer reviewed by at least 2 reviewers. Accepted papers will be posted to the workshop webpage and on arXiv. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit extensions to a special issue to enable publications associated with the workshop.

The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online attendance. To encourage student attendance and participation, HUBEDA will be sponsoring travel grants for student attendees based on merit and need. Travel grants are competitive, and priority will be provided to presenters. The travel grant submission deadline is August 1, 2024.

Confirmed speakers for the workshop include Arash Ajoudani, Vesna Novak, Elaine Short, Paul Robinette, and Pradipta Biswas. The workshop will also feature demos from Universal Robots and TARS on current advances and integrating physiological sensing with robotic to enable HRI applications.
