ICDAR 2025 Competition: CoLIE and ChronoText Classification

Compete in the ICDAR 2025 Competition on Automatic Classification of Literary Epochs and ChronoText Classification. Classify texts into six major literary epochs and identify the century of origin for a given text, and pinpointing the specific decade within that century when the text was composed.
The ICDAR 2025 Competition on Automatic Classification of Literary Epochs (CoLIE) and ChronoText Classification are now open for participation. CoLIE aims to push the boundaries of temporal text analysis by participants, while ChronoText Classification focuses on identifying the century of origin for a given text and pinpointing the specific decade within that century when the text was composed. Participants are invited to submit their results through the Kaggle platform before the competition deadline on April 8, 2025. Winners will be announced on June 30, 2025, and the results will be presented at the ICDAR conference from September 17-21, 2025.
