Identity-Aware AI 2025: Call for Papers on Ethical and Technical Challenges

Join the Identity-Aware AI 2025 workshop to explore ethical and technical challenges in AI research and submit your papers on related topics.

Join the Identity-Aware AI 2025 workshop at ECAI 2025 in Bologna, Italy, to explore the ethical and technical challenges of considering individual identities in AI research. The workshop aims to gather researchers from diverse fields to understand how identities should be treated in AI.

Submit your papers on topics such as approaches to model subjective phenomena, methods for detecting and controlling bias, and the role of sociodemographics in LLMs. We welcome long papers, short papers, and non-archival submissions, including creative formats like art, poetry, and videos.

The workshop will feature keynote speeches, paper presentations, and a participatory design activity to develop a shared interdisciplinary vocabulary. We are committed to ensuring accessibility and encourage submissions from underrepresented communities.

Important dates: Submissions due August 22, notifications on September 26, camera-ready on October 3, and the workshop on October 25.
