IEEE MLSP 2025: Call for Papers on Machine Learning for Signal Processing

Submit papers for IEEE MLSP 2025, a workshop on machine learning for signal processing, with a focus on large language models and signal processing.

Submit your papers now for the 35th IEEE Machine Learning for Signal Processing Workshop (MLSP 2025), taking place in Istanbul, Turkey from August 31 to September 3, 2025. The workshop is the flagship event of the MLSP Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and is fully sponsored by the SPS.

The theme of this year’s workshop is ‘Signal Processing in the age of Large Language Models’. We invite you to submit contributions that push the envelope of our understanding of machine learning for signal processing, including fundamental methodological contributions, applications of machine learning to real-world problems, and applications of machine learning in societally significant problems.

Topics covered in MLSP 2025 include but are not limited to:

  • Explainable Machine Learning / AI
  • Machine learning on Graphs
  • Machine Learning for Speech and Audio
  • Meta learning
  • Continual learning
  • Privacy and fairness in ML
  • Applications of machine learning
  • Biosignal processing and learning
  • Decentralized and edge ML
  • Deep learning methodology
  • Large Language Models
  • Multimodal Machine Learning

Important deadlines:

  • Deadline for paper submissions: April 22, 2025
  • Notification of paper acceptance: June 24, 2025
  • Deadline for camera-ready paper submissions: July 15, 2025
