International Workshop on Responsible AI for Healthcare and Net Zero

The 1st International Workshop on Responsible AI (RAI) for Healthcare and Net Zero is a joint effort by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India, and the University of Hull, UK. The event will take place at IIT Madras, Chennai, India, on October 16th and 17th, 2024.

The workshop will focus on two main themes: Responsible AI for Healthcare on Day 1, and Responsible AI for Net Zero on Day 2. Important dates include the submission deadline on August 15th, 2024, and the notification of acceptance on September 1st, 2024.

The workshop aims to address the criticism that Responsible AI efforts have been Western-focused and disregard unique contexts of developing and underdeveloped countries. The primary goal is to enhance the understanding and implementation of Responsible AI in Healthcare and Net Zero. The objectives are to share leading research, deliberate on responsible AI frameworks, and promote collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.

Topics of interest include International Perspectives on Responsible AI, Case Studies from Developed, Developing and Under-Developed Countries, Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration, Policy and Regulation, Sustainability of AI Solutions, Future of AI in Global Health and Environmental Challenges, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Trust, and Responsible AI for Net Zero.

Submission categories include research and application papers, and position papers. The submissions are handled only through the Easychair website at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rai2024.

Attendance at the workshop is also welcome without any publications. Registration details will be announced soon.
