Job Opportunity: Research Scientist at The Cyprus Institute

The Cyprus Institute is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Associate Research Scientist. The successful candidate will join the research engineering team of the EuroCC2 project and will be leading support projects with industry/academia/public sector, to support the EuroHPC National Competence Center (NCC) of Cyprus. The focus of the work will be on applications of High-Performance Computing (HPC), High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Combinatorial Scientific Computing in bioinformatics, medical imaging, or health data analytics. The initial period of the appointment will be for a duration of 16 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and availability of funds. An internationally competitive remuneration package will be offered.
