Fundamental Research Opportunity in Reinforcement Learning

We are looking for 1-2 graduate students to join the Adaptive Agents (Adage) Lab at the Department of Computer and Software Engineering of the Polytechnique Montréal and Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute. The positions will focus on the algorithmic and theoretical aspects of Reinforcement Learning. The deadline for applications is Dec 1, 2024.

As a member of the Adage Lab, you will be working on fundamental research to understand the computational and statistical mechanisms required to design efficient RL agents that interact with their environment and adaptively improve their long-term performance.
