The Proactive Experiences team at Amazon Alexa is looking for dedicated PhD students to join their 2025 internship program. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of world-class researchers and engineers on cutting-edge projects in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Reinforcement Learning. The team’s research focuses on areas such as Conversational AI, Dialogue Quality, Multi-Agent Systems, Personalized Language Models, and Self-Improving Language Models. As an intern, you will conduct original research and develop innovative algorithms and models in these fields, with the goal of publishing your work in top-tier AI conferences.
To be considered, applicants must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in ML, RL, and NLP. Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) and programming languages (mostly Python, but C++ or Java are also acceptable) is required. A proven track record of research publications will be considered a significant advantage.
