We are excited to announce an open postdoctoral research position at Max Planck Institute and Saarland University. The project aims to improve the effectiveness of human-AI collaboration in the domain of code generation, using machine learning, cognitive science, and software engineering methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong computational background, research experience with large language models for text and/or code generation, and experience with running human user studies. Experience with analyzing brain imaging data is beneficial but not required. Fluent communication in written and spoken English is required.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of computer scientists and cognitive scientists, interact with all groups, collaborate on exciting relevant projects, and mentor students. The position is in Saarbruecken, Germany, and the official language is English.
