We are looking for a PhD student to join our team at the School of Engineering, Monash University Malaysia. The research topic is focused on applying deep learning/machine learning techniques in the analysis of medical images such as mammograms and CT scans. Successful candidates will receive a tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of MYR 2,850. To apply, you should have a Master’s degree or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a first-class degree. Good knowledge of mathematics, algorithms, deep learning techniques for computer vision, and programming skills in Python are required. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is also necessary.
