Join the Fraser NLP Lab at TUM as a PhD Student Researcher in NLP

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is looking for a PhD Student Researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join the Fraser NLP lab at the School of Computation, Information and Technology. The lab is located at the new multi-university campus in Heilbronn, near Stuttgart.

As a PhD Student Researcher in NLP, you will conduct research in the area of NLP, develop and apply new NLP techniques to solve real-world problems, and publish high-quality research papers in top-tier journals and conferences. You will also supervise Bachelors and Masters students and assist teaching Bachelors and Masters courses in Machine Learning and/or Natural Language Processing.

To qualify, you should have a Masters in NLP, Computer Science or a related field, projects in NLP or machine learning, excellent programming skills in Python and other relevant programming languages, and strong communication and presentation skills in English. German is not necessary, but would be a plus. Other languages are also of strong interest.
