The School of Computation, Information and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP). The Fraser NLP lab, located at the new multi-university campus in Heilbronn, near Stuttgart, is seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will conduct independent research in NLP, develop and apply new NLP techniques to solve real-world problems, and publish high-quality research papers in top-tier journals and conferences. You will also have the opportunity to supervise PhD students and teach Bachelors and Masters courses in Machine Learning and/or Natural Language Processing.
To be considered for this position, you must have a PhD in NLP or a related field, a strong publication record in top-tier NLP conferences and journals, expertise in one or more NLP techniques, excellent programming skills in Python and other relevant programming languages, and strong communication and presentation skills in English. Teaching experience, supervising experience, and knowledge of German or other languages are not required but are a plus.
