Join the Hottest Seminar Course at Stanford: CS25 Transformers!

Get ready to learn about Transformers, the deep learning model that has taken the world by storm, in an exciting new course offered by Stanford University. This seminar course, taught by top researchers in the field, will cover the latest breakthroughs in Transformers research, from LLM architectures like GPT and Gemini to creative use cases in generating art, biology, neuroscience applications, robotics, and more.

The course is open to the public and will be held via Zoom every Thursday from 4:30-5:50pm PDT. Lectures will be recorded and released approximately two weeks after each lecture. You can access the course website at https://web.stanford.edu/class/cs25/ for more information.

This course has become one of Stanford’s hottest and most exciting seminar courses, with an incredibly popular reception within and outside Stanford. The class has had around 1 million total views on YouTube, with the class with Andrej Karpathy being the second most popular video uploaded by Stanford in 2023 with over 500k views!

In Spring 2024, the course will have significant improvements, including a large lecture hall, professional recording and livestreaming to the public, social events, and potential 1-on-1 networking. The only homework for students is weekly attendance to the talks/lectures. Livestreaming and auditing are available to all, so feel free to join in-person or by joining the Zoom livestream.

Additionally, there is a Discord server (over 1500 members) used for Transformers discussion. The server is open to the public as more of a “Transformers community”. Feel free to join and chat with hundreds of others about Transformers!
