KONVENS 2025: 2nd Call for Papers on Natural Language Processing

KONVENS 2025 invites submissions on natural language processing, computational linguistics, and language technology, with a focus on the German language and large language models.

KONVENS 2025, the Conference on Natural Language Processing, invites submissions of original and unpublished work on all aspects of computational linguistics and language technology. The conference will take place in Hildesheim, Germany, from September 10-13, 2025.

Confirmed keynotes include Michael Hahn, Sina Zarrieß, and Timo Freiesleben. We welcome submissions of long papers (8 pages plus references), short papers (4 pages plus references), and abstracts (1 page, non-archival).

Papers can be submitted to the main conference track or the special track on application of Large Language Models. We encourage submissions of NLP approaches dedicated to the German language.

Important dates include the paper submission deadline on May 3, 2025, paper notification on June 27, 2025, and the main conference from September 10-12, 2025.

Submissions must be formatted in accordance with the ACL style sheet and submitted via OpenReview: https://openreview.net/group?id=GSCL.org/KONVENS/2025
