The first workshop on LAIS 2024, held in conjunction with ICSOC 2024, aims to bring together AI researchers and embedded systems experts to discuss the development and deployment of artificial intelligence services (AI services) on edge and IoT devices. The workshop focuses on lightweight AI services specifically designed and optimized for resource-limited devices such as IoT sensors.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, quantization, pruning, low-rank factorization, knowledge distillation, and neural architecture search. The workshop invites original submissions, demonstration papers, work-in-progress research, and literature papers on these topics.
