LDC sponsors LT4All 2025, offers membership discounts, announces data scholarship recipients, and releases new publications on AIDA Scenario 3 and MATERIAL Georgian-English.
The Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2nd International Conference on Language Technologies for All (LT4All 2025), taking place from February 24-26, 2025. This conference, organized by ELRA and SIGUL, and in partnership with UNESCO, emphasizes ‘Advancing Humanism through Language Technologies,’ focusing on community empowerment and the impact of technology on language communities.

The Spring 2025 data scholarship recipients have been announced, including Sair Buckle from Charles Sturt University and Le Phuoc Thinh Tien from Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. Congratulations to both recipients for their contributions to AI and natural logical reasoning.
Two new publications are now available:
- AIDA Scenario 3 Practice Topic Source Data and Annotation: A corpus of English, Russian, and Spanish web documents and annotations, focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic.
- MATERIAL Georgian-English Language Pack: A resource containing 79 hours of Georgian conversational telephone speech, transcripts, English translations, and annotations.
