LIMMITS’25: Multilingual Streaming TTS with Neural Codecs for Indian Languages
The LIMMITS’25 challenge, as part of ICASSP 2025, is an opportunity for researchers to contribute towards the development of streaming and neural codec-based TTS systems for Indian languages. This edition focuses on multilingual streaming TTS with neural codecs for Indian languages including Indian English, Kannada, Gujarati, and Bhojpuri.
Participants will get access to TTS data of 80 hours in Indian English and Kannada, 40 hours in Gujarati, and 80 hours in Bhojpuri, with a male and female speaker for each language. The TTS corpora are being built as a part of the SYSPIN project at SPIRE lab, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India.
