LLMs Beyond the Cutoff: Computational Methods Beyond the Temporal Borders of Training Data
The LLMs Beyond the Cutoff workshop, collocated with CIKM 2024, aims to explore and propose technical solutions for applying and developing large language models (LLMs) beyond their cutoff dates. The workshop focuses on two scenarios where contexts tend to evolve faster than the LLMs used to analyze them: journalism and industry. Topics of interest include detecting, classifying, and reasoning with emerging topics, few-shot or zero-shot learning, large language models for online discourse, and social, ethical, and legal aspects of LLMs up-to-dateness, among others. The workshop welcomes various types of contributions, such as full papers, short papers, demo papers, data papers, and position papers. Submissions should be made via EasyChair and must follow Springer LNCS format guidelines. For any inquiries, please contact the workshop organizers at todorov@lirmm.fr, rettinger@uni-trier.de, jmgomez@expert.ai, and croitoru@lirmm.fr.
