MACLEAN Workshop: Machine Learning for Earth Observation Data Analysis
The MACLEAN workshop, taking place in September 2024, aims to bring together machine learning researchers and domain experts in the Earth Observation (EO) field. The workshop will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, debating current research, and identifying future research objectives related to the analysis of EO data using machine learning techniques. Topics of interest include supervised and unsupervised classification of EO data, deep learning approaches, and interpretability and explainability of machine learning methods in the context of EO data analysis.
The workshop invites original contributions, either theoretical or empirical, and accepts both short position papers and full research papers. The submission deadline is June 15, 2024, and accepted contributions will be made available electronically through the workshop’s web page. Post-proceedings will be published in the CCIS (Communications in Computer and Information Science) series.
