Medical Image Analysis PhD Position at Monash University Malaysia Campus

Monash University Malaysia Campus is offering a PhD position in the School of Engineering. The research topic is focused on applying deep learning and machine learning techniques to medical images such as chest X-rays, mammograms, and CT scans. The successful candidate will receive a tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of MYR 2,850.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a first class degree. Good knowledge of mathematics, algorithms, and deep learning techniques for solving computer vision problems is required. Fluency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV is essential. English fluency, both written and spoken, is also required.
