Nakba-NLP 2025 is a workshop focused on preserving Nakba narratives through AI, NLP, and corpus linguistics. It is part of COLING-2025 and will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Submit your work related to Nakba narratives as language resources by 25 November 2024.
Nakba-NLP 2025 is a workshop focused on the exploration and preservation of Nakba narratives through artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and corpus linguistics. The workshop is part of the COLING-2025 Conference and will be held on January 20, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We invite submissions on various topics related to Nakba narratives as language resources, including digitization of oral and written narratives, creation and labeling of language corpora, annotation tools, document classification, named entity recognition, event detection, knowledge representation, machine translation, sentiment analysis, and discourse analysis.
Participants are encouraged to use archives such as the Institute for Palestine Studies, The Palestinian Museum, Nakba-Archive, POHA, Alhaq, ICHR, Wikipedia, and the Wikidata Knowledge Graph. The submission deadline is 25 November 2024, and the camera-ready deadline is 13 December 2024.
